About Me
An experienced solutions developer with over 8 years of post qualifying experience in the IT field. Holds MSIT (IT Management) degree with Highest Academic Distinction from the Heinz College of Carnegie Mellon University and a Computer Science Bachelors degree with First Class honors from the University of Colombo.
As a solutions developer, Rashan is working with both offshore and onshore stakeholders in order to deliver complex mission critical projects. His project work span across many technical domains such as Dynamics CRM, ASP .Net MVC, Windows Store Apps, Windows Phone, SharePoint, SQL Server, Android, iOS, etc... Rashan has successfully delivered number of Enterprise Solutions by leading small to medium size project teams. Working in system administration related roles, Rashan displayed strong disciplines and skills in hardware requirement analysis, budgeting, maintenance planing, system configuration, application configuration and customer support.
Rashan also has grown interests on community based software projects. As such, he is contributing to several FOSS projects such as Moodle, Joomla, Fedora, GNOME and Xfce
